Four Seasons Builds A New Luxury Resort For Walt Disney World

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 15th September 2008

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts starting this year will build a new luxury Walt Disney World resort. They just completed a deal recently wherein Walt Disney sold almost 300 acres of land to Four Seasons to be used for building a luxurious 5-star hotel with golf course for Walt Disney.

Walt Disney World already has resorts operating in some places in the world but not at this scale. This particular hotel and resort will cater to those who expect 5-star amenities and facilities, which Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts are known for.

Although, it will be a luxurious hotel, it will still be constructed and operated for family vacation experiences. Aside from 455 rooms in the hotel, they will also be offering world-class vacation homes available thru fractional ownership that will cater to those who prefer more privacy and convenience whenever they want to experience the world of Walt Disney.

Architects chosen for this project, the WATG or Wimberly, Allison, Tong and Goo were reported to be leaning towards a “Palm Beach” design feel to it or what they call an Addison Mizner inspired-design. WATG is one of the world’s leading design firms for the leisure and hospitality industries.

Expect the Walt Disney World Resort to open its doors to the public by 2012.
