Villa Contenta in Miami, Privacy and Luxury At Its Best

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 14th November 2008

Most people want the grand service that every 5-star hotel can offer but they want to be secluded from the other guests. At Villa Hotel Contenta in Miami they offer both.

Now you can enjoy private parties with an efficient first class hotel trained staff in a very luxurious villa. Imagine a presidential suite inside a villa. You can have access to all the amenities that a hotel can provide plus the comforts of your very own home in just one place. Incredible, isn’t it?

This luxurious vacation lifestyle was conceptualized and operated by Villazzo Villa Hotels. Everything anyone would need in a vacation, they can provide.  Fly to Miami via a private jet. From the runway, a chopper will be waiting for you to fly you over to a beachfront wherein a stylish Ferrari with a charming driver is standing by and will drive you towards the Villa.

The moment you step on to the Villa, everyone is at your beck and call. You can plan your day to whatever you want and the staff would arrange them for you. The service and facilities you thought only the big hotels can provide, well, I got a newsbreak for you, the Villa Contenta can!

Privacy is one requirement that those hotels cannot 100% provide no matter how big and luxurious they are. At Villa Contenta, you might have uniformed staff around but they do not stay in the Villa. The management made sure that there is a nearby headquarters wherein all the staff and crew can stay. Their presence will depend on what the guest want.

This Spanish Colonial designed villa is the home of the Villazzo founder himself and so from his Villa-Hotel properties, expect this one to be the most luxurious. It will cost you around $13,300 to stay in the private villa for just one night.

Winter Season means nonstop skiing and one of the best places to do is rent La Ferme de Moudon. It is a 17th century chalet with interiors reminiscent of a James Bond movie. Every nook and corner is oozing with ultimate luxury.

Invite 9 more people and give them a week of blissful seclusion in Les Gets and the magnificent views of the French Alps with an extremely efficient staff of five to pamper your every need.

The location itself is already one great advantage. The interiors of the Chalet will make every guest want to stay longer.  All the furniture was chosen to fit the contemporary sleek design Nicky Dobree made for the Chalet. The much-needed facilities that one can go without even in vacation are installed in the chalet.

Ferme De Moudon boasts of having a 17th century manor which was given a contemporary design along with all the high-tech gadgets this modern world can offer. Even if you are quite secluded from the outside world, you can still stay connected with a wireless Internet broadband setup.

After a run in the slopes, one can have a soothing massage or just dip and relax in an outdoor hot tub while your chef whipped up your favorite dishes in a state-of-the-art Italian kitchen. Watch your favorite shows on the giant plasma TV or read a book from their library.

Former guests are wowed by the incredible service they offer. It is often likened to the service one usually get from a 5-star hotel. Prices range from £11,575 to £29,180 per week depending upon the season.

Fall In Love with Jade Mountain, Caribbean’s Most Romantic Resort

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 30th October 2008

One stunning photo from Jade Mountain in St. Lucia made me tingle with excitement.  The moment you stepped in the area, you immediately realized that the image you saw from the Internet did not give any justice to the beauty and majesty of the resort.  It is clearly, the most romantic place in the Caribbean.  I have fallen in love with it.

Jade Mountain gave a new meaning to the phrase, “A Room with a View”.  Have you stayed in a room without seeing the fourth wall? This was decided by the resort’s architect/owner, Nick Troubetzkoy, so that guests will have the chance to absorb the wonders of nature from their very own suite, specifically the Pitons.  The majestic view of the mountain peaks along with the different hues of the sky depending on the time of the day reflecting on the clear aquamarine blue color of the shimmering water from the Caribbean Sea.

All of the 24 suites in Jade Mountain were created differently.  They call it sanctuaries and appropriately so.  From the shape and form of the room to the furniture and fixture; nothing was repeated except for three items.  One is that they all have an infinity pool.  Second, all of them lacked a fourth wall.  Lastly, all of them feature 15th feet high ceilings.  The architect was able to create a unique environment for every single suite thereby giving guests a different experience each time they visit the resort.

You won’t see a lot of guest stepping out from their rooms.  Why would anyone do so, when they can have everything without leaving their sanctuaries?  Although, if you are so into your techno-gadgets, sad to inform you that the resort was created to remove you from the toxic world of mobile phones, television, radios, etc.  However, if you need to use the Internet, they will allow it but you need to go to the reception for that service.

Words are not enough to describe the beauty that the Jade Mountain offers, so I chose images that would best reflect the amazing experience that every person in the world should have.

By the way, the stunning architectural design and the wonders of nature are not the only advantages of the resort.  The very efficient staff that they have will guarantee that your stay will not only be luxurious but the most relaxing as well. Reserve your own sanctuary now.

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 23rd October 2008

When you think of bright sunny days filled with state-of- the-art facilities and superb service, plus a challenging golf course with a rejuvenating spa, then The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona will absolutely satisfy your cravings for luxury vacation.

The Phoenician has so many things to offer to everyone. There are 454 elegantly designed guest rooms which are about 600 sq ft each, 12 luxury suites ranging from 1,200 up to 4,000 sq ft can be found from the main building.

However, if you prefer privacy, you may find the Canyon Suites better equipped for that purpose.  Each suite is beautifully designed and strategically located as to avoid other guests. Back in 1940s cosmetic tycoon Elizabeth Arden built a first class exclusive Spa for the rich and famous on the very spot where Canyon Suites is now standing.  Just like back in those days, the Canyon Suites today pamper their guests with everything they want and need.

Golf addicts will have a time of their life in there.  You can play at three different golf courses, the Desert, the Canyon and the Oasis.

After a game of golf, you can relax and have someone pamper you with soothing massages and beauty treatments that will rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit. They do have efficient and well-trained staff to the various European and Eastern treatments.

If you want to bring the kids and they are not into golf, don’t fret because there are so much activities in store for them to enjoy such as parachute play, sand sculpture, puppet shows, water slide, basketball, soccer, and many more.  They would not be bored while you putt and swing over to the three courses. By the way, the resort has pools with 165 foot water slide and manmade waterfalls. That alone will be the highlight of your kids’ vacation.

Another thing, if somebody from your family is an art lover, The Phoenician has a $25 million worth of art and antiquities which include tapestries, sculptures, paintings, furniture and even pre-historic fossils.

This 250 acre resort is under the management of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Plan your Arizona vacation and make your reservation online.

Experience Ski-Slope Luxury at Chesa Albertini in St. Moritz

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 10th October 2008

Do you have plans to go skiing this winter season? You better arrange everything this early so you can choose the best accommodation there is and what better way to try your new pair of skis by going to St. Moritz Resort and rent The Chesa Albertini.

St. Moritz is the heart of the Swiss elite. Name any celebrity on the British entertainment A-list or even the members of the Royal family who loves to go skiing and I will not be surprised if they put St. Moritz on top of their favorite ski destination.

When you plan to go to such a beautiful place, it is only fitting you stay at one of the best private residences in that area. The Chesa Albertini is strategically located near St. Moritz. It was built back in 1665 and owned by the same family for the last 350 years. The renovation of the stunning mansion took about 12 years. It may have a long history but do not expect it to be an old fashioned type of establishment. It was refurbished under the supervision of one of the leading contemporary designers in Zurich, Hannes B. It is a combination of the best of both worlds, the unique old designs with contemporary furniture and fixtures.

It can accommodate 16 guests and it comes with personal gourmet catering, chauffeur, household staff that will make your stay there pleasurable beyond words.

Expect to shell out around US$50,000 to $92,000 for a one-week stay at Chesa Albertini. If you want the best then you are expected to pay a certain price. I believe every penny is worth the Swiss experience.

Cliveden, A Luxurious and Notorious English Country Estate

Posted by Jess Dayuno on 4th August 2008

Everyone’s leaving for Beijing as 080808 is so near. If you do not want to take part on the grand celebration of athletics and sportsmanship in the busiest city this year, may I suggest you fly over to ‘bloody’ England and experience the famous English Country Getaway.

Live in the luxurious and legendary English country estates or Manor Houses, which served as summerhouses of the past Lords and Lady’s of the past elite and genteel English society. They have so much history and the walls of these estates/hotels were witnesses to fascinating stories of the love affairs and different family scandalous pasts.

One of them is called Cliveden, built by the second Duke of Buckingham in the 1666. He was a very notorious rake during his time and used this house to served as his hunting lodge. However, the Duke although is very fond of hunting, he primarily used Cliveden to entertain his mistresses.

Many of the members of the Royal Court often stayed there since it was a Ducal Residence. However, in 1893 an American purchased the Great Estate by the name of William Waldorf Astor. He was considered to be richest man in America during that time. England’s Queen Victoria was not happy with that especially since the house became the center of socialization of the elite American community. Many famous entertainers, socialites and politicians stayed there. It was where the famous Profumo Affair happened.  Every brit who was already an adult during the 1960’s was very much aware of this notorious and scandalous moment in their political history.

A luxurious accommodation at Cliveden will cost a guest around USD$600 -1500 a night. They have 39 spacious bedrooms, which are all beautifully designed and decorated with 17th century antiques. To those who want more privacy, they can choose to live in the notorious Spring Cottage, the center of the Profumo Scandal.

One of the main attractions of Cliveden, aside of course from the history is the Cliveden Boathouse. They have unique vintage launches that the guests can use in cruising the Thames River. They also have all the usual English entertainment and sport facilities such as tennis, squash and golf courts, snooker room, swimming pools, horseback riding, archery and shooting grounds.

What luxurious getaway is, without a Spa? They have the Pavillion Spa, a haven of serene and soothing ambience that offers holistic treatments and also served as a beauty center for the estate.

Get high on experiencing how to be greeted by a your own butler and be pampered the English way. Getting there is easy. Check out this site for more info and a detailed map of the location. If you want to take a peek on the place itself, watch this video.
