It is the 2008 Best Luxury Awardee in this year’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for World, Latin America/Caribbean category. The Caves Resort is an elite Jamaican resort located at Negril, Jamaica.
Do not be so alarmed with the name of the resort, it might sound as if its from a prehistoric time but it is actually a haven for those who wanted a modern pampering without the hassle of paparazzi hounding you down as they have big muscled security men manning the gates.
It has different kinds of accommodations that you can choose from. It offers cottages just right the cliff, 1 to 2-bedroom suites and 4 to 5-bedroom deluxe villas, which include all the entertainment/communication gadgets and a private pool.
The Caves Resort continues to attract those famous people who wants to enjoy their much-needed break from the entertainment and political spotlight since the whole resort is confined behind walls and is located on a cliff which makes it more like private island. The resort’s staff is very professional since they are used to attending to many celebrities since it opened many years ago. They make the impossible possible and are trained to cater to all their needs. Guests are given a royal pampering.
However, if you are looking for a beach, there is no such thing in The Caves. The resort has steps, which will take the guests directly to the deep blue waters of the sea. Take the advantage of the natural setting it provides like the in-cave massage and the unbelievable secluded hot tub and the pool located at the top of the cliff.
If you are wooing the woman you love or just celebrating an anniversary for lovers, a romantic candlelit dinner can be arranged inside one of the caves in the resort.
There are several ways to get there by air and land. You can fly over the nearest airport, which is the Montego Bay after which, you can fly via a rented chopper directly to the resort or via a small, light jet which can land to a small airport which is around 15 minutes away by car travel from the resort.
